Ramblings for the week

We’re off for a weekend of camping…we think.  It’s supposed to rain.  A LOT.  So, we may be back.

Monday, Hunter and I have big plans to work all day on the other house.  The two guys that work for him are coming so I am hoping and praying that we finish the clean out and start ripping out carpet!

Since I need to get off my tail and get to packing, here are some of my favorite ramblings over the past week or so.

Ann’s ever beautiful words on intimacy in marriage.

Alli’s fired up post about the lack of response to the Nashville flood.

Patrice has a completely clever wreath made from spoons and forks; she got the idea from Tatertots and Jello.  I am totally trying this when we move

Oh and have you checked out BlissReads

Want to make your own bias tape?  Prudent Baby tells you how. She also have a really cook automatic bias tape maker!

Finally, Kristin has the newest Do-It-For-Others Project (DIFOP) announced. She’s collecting pillow cases or pillow case dresses to make to send to Africa.  Awesome project!  You don’t have to be able to sew people!  Just go and read the post and get involved!

That’s it!  Have a great Memorial Day weekend and don’t forget to celebrate the reason we have a holiday!
